The odorless and invisible Insect Shield^® technology helps to protect you from mosquitoes, ticks, no-see-ums and other biting insects during all your outdoor adventures. The cape fits discreetly into the rear portion of the brim; held in place by dual Velcro^® closures. To battle sun, wind and rain, the cape unrolls to protect all angles of the neck and can be fastened under the chin by another Velcro^® closure. The Airflo^® mesh in the crown enhances coolness and comfort during hot days or strenuous activities. The LTM6IS is engineered from Tilley Nylamtium^®, a strong water-and-mildew resistant form of nylon and Insect Shield^® technology will keep performing through 70 washings. Hat Sizing: Tilley Hats fit more comfortably than other hats. To find your size, simply use a tape measure to measure around your head in inches, just above your eyebrows (do not pull tight). Order options are given in inches and hat size. If you already know your regular hat size, please order one size larger when you order your Tilley.

Tilley's Guarantee: If you ever succeed in wearing out your Tilley Hat, send us the remains and we will replace it free. If you want to keep your faithful, old, worn-out friend, tell us and we'll return it to you. We understand. Upon purchase, your Hat is covered by a two year, all-peril, 50% deductible, Hat Insurance Policy to take the pain out of loss or irreparable damage.

Fabric Story: The lighterweight Tilley (LT) Hats are handcrafted of a strong, laminated, waterproof nylon, Tilley Nylamtium^®.

Washing Instructions: Machine wash in warm or cool water. Do not use bleach. Smooth and reshape the Hat by hand and set it out to air dry.
