Most of the production is still done by hand to insure excellent craftsmanship. Each individual hat is steamed, baked, and hand shaped on a hand carved Swedish Alder wood form. Swedish Alder is impervious to humidity or dry conditions - making it the ideal resource for blocking. Every hat is perfectly sized and individually examined and tissued before shipping.
